DUSTY KID’S rise to stardom

Dusty Kid

It was in 2004 when DUSTY KID created Duoteque, a project brought to life alongside Andrea Ferlin. Releasing at the same time, numerous EP’s under Boxer Recordings and tracks being immediately included within the DJ sets of some of the most important names in the industry such as, Richie Hawtin, Tiefschwarz, Ricardo Villalobos, Domenic Eulberg, Sven Vath and Magda. Upon Duoteque’s success, Paolo decided to commence his solo musical career under his own production label known today to the world as DUSTY KID.

His first release as DUSTY KID, was EP, “NEW ORDINAMENT” on Motivo, followed by a second EP in 2007. 2007 was also the year of various DUSTY KID releases on labels such as Kling Klong’s 63 EP with ‘Signal’; ‘Tsunamy’/‘Milk’ under Systematic; ‘Anatome EP Vol.1’ under ; Boxer Recordings; and ‘The Cat’ / ‘The Kitten’ under Southern Fried Records - all hugely supported by DJ’s all over the world and still ripping dancefloors as well as cutting the charts, on top of amazing reviews from press.
